Introducing Tyler Rhoton
This past Sunday we mentioned in the service that the Lord has blessed us with the ability to hire a new staff member. On July 26, Tyler Rhoton will join our staff as a Pastor of Worship and Connections. He’ll be responsible for the Sunday musical worship and also much of the process that allows people to go from first-time guests to fully involved partners in the church.
Tyler was formerly the Student Worship Pastor at Sevier Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville, where we served togther for 5 years. He is a great friend. His heart for church planting and what God is doing here is what’s gonna make him such a great fit. I’ve talked to Tyler literally every Sunday afternoon since January. He loves what the Lord is up to at Arrowhead.
I can’t wait for you to meet him if you’re a part of Arrowhead. Even better, you’ll enjoy meeting his wife Emily and kids Caroline (5), Will (3), and Grant (8 months).
I’ve never said that much nice stuff about him before. So, how about we balance it with saying he’s ugly and is a bad golfer. Ha.
Tyler Patterson won’t be going anywhere either! You’ll still see him on stage a lot, and he’ll transition to a new position - Director of Creative Arts. He’ll handle all things media and graphic design, which a perfect fit for him.
