Wow. What a day. I’ll separate my thoughts into the service and the Picnic Baptism.

• Great service today. One of the first times I was absolutely sure the Spirit of the Lord was moving.
• Communion was very powerful. Celebrating the cross is always life-changing and God-honoring.
• Lots of people were on vacation. That’s okay. Jesus was there!
• Tyler P. did an amazing job on the piano after he, Zak, and Sabrina did an amazing job with an acoustic set.
• I love meeting new people each week. This week I met a guy from England. England to Morristown…wow.
• Announced today the addition of Tyler Rhoton to our team at the end of July. Longer post this week about him is coming.

Baptism:

• Unbelievable and overwhelming night. Great chance for us all to celebrate what God has done in these 6 months and get a glimpse of what He wants to continue to do. 21 people followed Jesus in baptism! Among them were:
• The person who God gave Sara and I a front-row seat into what He was doing in her life. This person was powerful motivation for Sara and I to start this church.
• My mom.
• 3 dads and their kids.
• A lifelong friend who is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet but still in need of Jesus.
• A former pastor.
• A future pastor.
• A future male teacher who will be an example to kids who want to follow Jesus.
• The cutest little girl you’ve ever seen.
• A guy who’s dad passed away a few weeks ago but got to see his son reconnect with God before he went to be with Him.

Thank You God and thank you Arrowhead Church! We’re just getting started.
